On December 14-16, 2011 Mariana Juharyan, the Public Relations officer of WFD, participated in the 3-day training “Public Relations” organized jointly by Graduate School of Corporate Management and Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in Yerevan.
Alan Anstead, Chief Executive at Equality, member of CIPR and accredited trainer, lead the training. It aimed 
to give participants knowledge on correct and productive management of public relations mainly in business, to introduce modern tools and development trends.
As a result, participants learned about PR as a link between public relations and advertisement /marketing, the role of mass media and PR models/. They also learned how PR can support, protect or raise the authority of a certain organisation. The professional ways of linking mass media and journalists were also discussed.
At the end of the training participants received corresponding certificates.
