On April 4th, Tsoghamarg Youth Center hosted a training on the topic of “Volunteering: Exchange of Successful Experience”, which was conducted by a former WFD NGO employee Arpine Nikolyan, who is presently the office manager for “Trails for Change” NGO, working in the sphere of tourism infrastructure development.
The training was attended by schoolchildren from WFD NGO beneficiary communities, who have recently become members of our youth centers. Arpine Nikolyan shared her experience with the participants, highlighted the differences between volunteering and paid employment, as well as the opportunities and benefits, being provided through volunteering.
WFD NGO president Gohar Markosyan also reflected on the concept of volunteering and highlighted its importance for bringing positive change to communities, as well as its impact on the personal growth of young people.
