Armenian Apostolic Church’s Easter and Christ’s Resurrection was also celebrated in WFD NGO’s beneficiary Anushavan, Tsoghamarg, Goghovit, Salut and Musayelyan villages. Youth active group members organized big community events for schoolchildren and kids, with the goal of making this day a memorable one, as well as initiating interest for religious holidays.
Youth accompanied children to the places of worship, and then continued the celebrations at the youth centers, where participants spoke about the symbolism of the day, participated in movie and cartoon screenings, organized discussions, and of course played the traditional Easter eggs game. It was fun to see parents joining their children in Goghovit community and bringing traditional food and sweets with them.
