On February 7-11, 2011, Liana Mikayelyan, the vice-president of WFD participated in the “Advocacy and Policy Influencing” training, organized by INTRAC (International NGO Training and Research Centre) in Oxford, United Kingdom.
The training gave the participants an opportunity to get acquainted with the main principles of effective advocacy, gain basic knowledge on advocacy and mechanisms of running advocacy campaigns, work out strategy to achieve political changes through advocacy.
On May 30, 2011 Liana Mikayelyan conducted a training on the topic “Advocacy and Policy influencing” for the WFD staff and shared the knowledge gained during INTRAC training in Oxford.
