The innocent victims of Armenian Genocide were honored in Arpeni community on April 24. In 2007 the community member Hovsep Yengoyan erected a khachqar in the cemetery of Old Arpeni. Since then every year on April 24 Arpeni community members come to this monument, which perpetuates the memory of their co-villagers – the victims of the Genocide, put flowers and fumigate.
