On February 14 one of the most popular Armenian holidays – Tiarnyndaraj- was celebrated in the village of Bayandur on the initiative of Bayandur community center officers.
Children presented the idea of the day: where it comes from, how the holiday was celebrated in the past, what the jumping over the fire symbolizes, etc. They also spoke about the traditions of celebrating of St. Sargis 
day. Afterwards, they made a fire – the symbol of this holiday, and the celebration went on around it. The melody of traditional music instrument – parkapzuk – cheered participants creating joyful atmosphere and mood.
At the end of the event community center officers treated children with traditional holiday food.
