On April 9-10th, experience exchange forum for civil society organizations took place in Yerevan. The forum was organized by “NGO Center” Civil Society Development NGO, in frames of the “Civil Society in Action” project, implemented by the Counterpart International and funded by the USAID. “Women for Development” NGO President Gohar Markosyan participated in the forum as a panelist.
The goal of the Forum was to foster the dialogue and experience exchange between community-based organizations and established civil society NGOs.
During the 2-day Forum, approximately 40 representatives of civil society organizations, working in the regions of RA, had an opportunity to meet and hear the experiences of over 15 established civil society organizations in their respective areas of interventions.
During the Forum, participatory budgeting, community-based activities, public fundraisers, and social entrepreneurship, as well as increasing community resilience and disaster risk reduction topics were discussed.
