30 children ages 7-13 from Artik and Anushavan communities participated in the camp. Under leadership of their coordinator Mane Vardanyan, Anushavan youth active group members took full responsibility for organizing and implementing the camp.
The 4-day camp was rich with intellectual games and competitions, reading and debate clubs, communication skills development role games and assignments, as well as pilgrimages to community churches and other type of sightseeing.
Apart from effective and interesting way of spending time, the camp provided children with an opportunity to acquire new knowledge, develop their self-expression skills, become involved in teamwork, and make new friends.
This was the first summer camp, which promises to become a yearly initiative.
