On July 16,2 2020 WFD President Gohar Markosyan, Project coordinator Armine Shiroyan and Project assistant Arpine Nikolyan had meetings in 3 beneficiary settlements of Sarapat consolidated community: Salut, Poqr Sariar and Sarapat. The goal of the meetings was to present to the population the new project “Empowering local and regional actors for Peace in the region and reducing rural poverty in Northern Armenia” to be implemented by WFD NGO and the main principles of the LEADER approach. The conversation with the community members was also about raising the current problems in the villages and possibilities to find solutions to them. Special attention was paid to the work of the active youth groups, which will be coordinated by the project assistant Arpine Nikolyan. A decision is made to organize meetings with the village youth in the coming week.
