Last week 4 staff members of the NGO Women for Development went to Tbilisi to participate in the informative training organized by “Center of Strategic Research and Development of Georgia” (CSRDG http://new.csrdg.ge/), to get acquainted with several social enterprises functioning in Georgia through CSRDG support.
The informative training was carried out by Eka Datuashvili, Coordinator of CSRDG Social Entrepreneurship program, and Giga Chitishvili, manager of Youth Social Entrepreneurship project.
During the training the hosts presented the history of the establishment of “Social Entrepreneurship Center” functioning in Georgia through SCDRG support, the work implemented in the direction of social entrepreneurship development, the procedure of grants provision, legislative initiatives, the procedure of consultations provision to the beneficiaries by the center, etc.
Through exact examples the partners presented the trainings in the sphere of social entrepreneurship and grants provided by CSDGR during last years.
In the result of the working visit and exchange of experience WFD NGO staff had an opportunity to get acquainted with the huge experience of the partner organization CSRDG in the sphere of social entrepreneurship and successful examples of the social enterprises established by them.
