In March the global, collaborative #SheBuildsPeace campaign was launched however, with the onset of #COVID19, many country launches had to be put on hold. Last week, following the relaxation of #COVID19 restrictions and permission from health authorities #SheBuildsPeace was launched in #Armenia.
Thank you to #WASL partner Gohar Markosyan and “Women For Development” NGO for helping to launch the campaign, following health guidelines and carrying out a safe and hugely successful event!

The #StandWithWomenPeacebuilders Call to Action is a multifaceted campaign that ICAN—in collaboration with members of the Women’s Alliance for Security Leadership (WASL), who are #WomenPeacebuilders from 40 countries affected by #conflict and #violentextremism; governments; UN agencies; and peer organizations—is launching to ensure that women peacebuilders are firmly at the center of local and global #peace and security processes.
