“Let’s Live in Peace with Our Neighbors” exhibition at Gyumri Hayordyats House

Today Gyumri Hayordyats House celebrated its 1st anniversary. Students from choir, dance, recitation and other groups performed wonderfully and originally, which meantime was a sort of report about the Hayordyats House’s activities for the year.
Primate of Shirak Diocese bishop Mikayel Ajapahyan, representatives from Shirak regional administration and Gyumry Municipality Department of Culture, artists, parents and other guests attended the event.

Next to the portraits made by Hayordyats House’s drawing and carving class students, today was also held “Let’s live in peace with our neighbors” exhibition. In her speech WFD NGO president G. Markosyan congratulated A. Yedigaryan and thanked her for the active participation saying, “We highly appreciate your work directed to the education and aesthetic upbringing of Gyumri’s younger generation. Despite its short term existence, Hayordyats House managed to gain everybody’s trust and love becoming one of the most important centers in Gyumri in educating and upbringing children. Once again congratulating Hayordyats House on its 1st anniversary we wish you and all the staff endless vigor, a lot of success and new achievements in your patriotic work. Let you celebrate many anniversaries in this beautiful and bright place”. G. Markosyan delivered cards with the drawing of Hayordyats House student Tigran Abajyan – winner of “Let’s live in peace with our neighbors” drawing contest to those present. Calendars with the contest’s other participants’ drawings were also delivered.

The event was also featured with the musical performance of the State Symphonic Orchestra of Gyumri under the artistic directorship of Y. Varosyan. At the close of the event students of Hayordyats House danced a roundelay and a festive firework was displayed.
