The first meeting with the Community Centers Officers in the frames of the project “Community based rural development and peacebuilding through peace education” took place. The above mentioned project is the logical continuation of the previous one. Once more summarizing the achievements of the previous project – the capacity building of the community members, raising their participation, organization of large-scale activities, formation of the active voluntary groups – the project coordinator Armine Shiroyan presented to the participants the goal, the objectives, activities and approaches of the new project.
According the Community Centers Officers, the community members are looking forward to new meetings, as with the help of the NGO WFD they will be able to continue the numerous projects which they have already started, as well as to carry out new ideas and projects.
