WFD’s Peace Corps Volunteer Bobbie Seltzer conducted a seminar on the topic “Education in the US” in Tsoghamarg and Torosgugh villages. The presentations were well received. Here is what Bobbie wrote about her experiences, “Yesterday I gave my first presentation without Armine Shiroyan, my counterpart and translator. Fortunately for me, Arpineh Nikolyan a WFD volunteer with excellent English ability stepped in to assist me. The girls that attended were very quiet until the end of the PowerPoint. Both groups said there were many similarities and we discussed the differences. Most of the questions they asked were about higher education at the college and university level, with some pupils saying they wanted to study in the US.”
